Meet the Staff

		Phil Walker - Senior Pastor Phil grew up in Independence, MS and is married to the former Jody Bolton. They have two daughters, Brittany and Lori, with sons-in-law Ramsey Bell and Craig Kinsley, and 3 grandchildren, Lily, Banner, and Piper. One of his favorite Bible verses is John 15:7, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” Phil has served at Ridgecrest since 1989. He enjoys cars, Auburn football, Xbox, skiing, golf, writing, & international pastor training.


		Brian Wright - Assistant Pastor Brian grew up in Southaven, MS. He and his wife Stacie have three sons: Wesley, Spencer, and Preston. Brians’s favorite Bible verse is, “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer” (Psalm 19:14). He has served at Ridgecrest since 2009 and his hobbies include sports (playing, watching, and coaching) and anything involving his kids.

		Greg O'Neal - Worship Pastor Greg was born in Ft. Worth, TX but grew up in Baton Rouge, LA. He & and his wife Staci have two children, Joshua and Meghan. Greg’s favorite Bible verse is, “Let the Word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” (Colossians 3:16) Greg has served at Ridgecrest since 1994 and enjoys golf, college football, reading, and traveling.

		Stacy Andrews - Connections Pastor Stacy grew up in New Albany, Mississippi. He has been married to his college sweetheart, Stacy Lea, for 19 years, & they have three children: Parker (15), Rosie (11) & Jackson (5). Stacy served as the College Minister at Ridgecrest from 1999-2004 before leaving to do church planting. In 2011, he returned to Ridgecrest to serve as our Connections Pastor. Stacy loves books & listening to Mumford & Sons & Ray LaMontangne. He practices Jui Jitsu wrestling with his whole family several times a week, but his favorite pastime, however, is eating at out-of-way places with his wife.

		Matt Oswalt - Student Pastor Matt is from Brandon, MS; he & his wife Emily have two children: Thomas Hewitt (3) and Andrew (2). Matt has served at Ridgecrest since 2009 and enjoys movies, sports, and time with his family. One of his favorite Bible verses is Ephesians 2:4-5, “because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.”

		Buddy Knott - Children & Sports Pastor Buddy and his wife Connie have 2 sons, Jaydon & Brady. His life verses are James 1:2-4, “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trails, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete lacking in nothing.” Buddy has served at Ridgecrest since 2007, and he enjoys spending time with his family and wrestling with his boys, as well as hunting, fishing, playing golf and officiating MHSAA soccer.

		Stacie Albritton - Preschool Ministries Director Stacie and her husband Erik Albritton have two sons, Luke and Seth. One of her favorite Bible verses is Deuteronomy 6:5-6, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” She has served as a volunteer at Ridgecrest since 1998 and came on staff in 2005. She enjoys photography & spending time with family. Her favorite part of ministry is seeing a preschooler’s genuine joy and unconditional love for our Jesus.

		Tim Blocker - Stewardship Director Tim grew up in Philadelphia, MS where his Mom and Dad, sister and brother-in-law still reside. He & his wife Michele have two daughters, Leigh Alison and Anna. His favorite Bible verse is “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men… It is the Lord Christ whom you serve” Colossians 3:23-24. He has been a member at Ridgecrest since 1991 & has served on staff since 2005. Tim enjoys hunting/fishing and spending time with kids and family.

		Joe Chapman - Associate Pastor Joe grew up in Lexington, MS and has been married to his wife, Dixie, for 56 years. They have 4 grown children. Joe’s favorite Bible verse is 1 Peter 1: 13, “Gird your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” Joe has served on staff at Ridgecrest since 1985. He enjoys working on his motor home and doing mission work during the summer.

		Brian Price - IT & Technical Director Brian and his wife Retha have 3 kids: Will (17), Max (14), & Claire (10) years old. They also have 6 1/2 pets. One of Brian’s favorite Bible verses is Romans 5:8, “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Brian has been a member at Ridgecrest since 2005, and has served on staff since 2006. He enjoys music, both listening and playing, and time with his family.
